MOWS are TECT Community Award Finalists!

09/07/2020 By MOWSadmin123

We are thrilled to have been nominated for the TECT Community Awards under the Sustainable Future category, and even more excited to have made it through to the finals. It is a testimony to the hard work our team puts in, and to the amazing achievements they have made for coastal conservation around Maketu.

Alongside us in the finals were Bay Conservation Alliance, the umbrella group started by our very own Chairman Julian Fitter, Western Bay Wildlife Trust, YSAR Tauranga Trust, and Good Neighbour Aotearoa Trust. Congratulations to everyone and well done on your incredible projects. It’s fantastic to see the awesome conservation efforts being carried out in the Bay of Plenty.

See the video about our conservation and education efforts below.
